Alkaline Water? Is it worth drinking?

There are many questions about alkaline water and, gratefully, there are more and more answers. I did a light analyses and here are my notes.

"On average, a sedentary adult should drink 1.5 liters of water per day, as water is the only liquid nutrient that is really essential for body hydration", Jeqiuer, E.

"... consumption of alkaline water may be considered as a source of easy-to implement lifestyle to modulate metabolic features, sleep duration and muscle strength..." Yoke Mun Chan

" In addition, a large number of studies showing the benefits of alkaline water (mineral water) have revealed that people consuming water with a high level of total dissolved solids (TDS) (ie, with a high mineral content) have shown a lower incidence of coronary heart disease (CHD), cardiovascular disease (CVD), and cancer and lower total mortality rates" Haider Abdul-Lateef Mousa

In short, drink alkaline water and get your ground on.  These articles and thousands of others are searchable for free on PubMed.

A short video on the subject which gives you a recipe to alkaline your water at home with some baking soda (3/4 tsp. to a liter of water).

Cheers!
